Our Services: Workflow Management

When something about an identity changes (otherwise known as an event) it can trigger what is known as a workflow—a series of tasks performed by people and/or computers. We can simplify or automate many common workplace tasks via the use of automated workflows.

Example of an event and the workflow it triggered:

Here, a workflow begins with a certain event: when an UMHS intern becomes a doctor. Someone must now not only grant him access to all of the systems to which a doctor is entitled but also take away his intern accesses. Normally, this complicated task would be performed manually. But through workflow management, the entire process is automatic. A policy notices the event as it happens and rapidly initiates and completes this workflow—far quicker than any live person ever could.
