FAQ: How do I change my password?

Changing your password is a simple process. Just follow the direction below.

1. Browse to https://lvl2.med.umich.edu, click on the link “Click here to update your UMHS User Profile or to reset your passwords.”

Note: You must know your Level-2 password to use this option.

2. Enter your Level-2 credential to authenticate;

3. To update user profile, under Profile tab:

- Review existing information, update available fields as needed, and then click on Submit Changes tab.

4. To change Level-2 password, under Level-2 tab:

- Review password requirements, type in current Level-2 password, your new Level-2 password, retype it to confirm, and then click on Change Password tab.

5. To change Level-1 password, under Level-1 tab:

- Review password requirements, type in current Level-2 password, your new Level-1 password, retype it to confirm, and then click on Submit Changes tab.
